Module Checklist
Working together using this wiki
Think of this wiki as a shared online whiteboard. Our entire group can share information using this wiki, making your research accessible to everyone. Play around with this wiki: Notice how you can add comments to a page, see what people have changed, and edit all the text. Need more information on how to contribute? Not sure what to add? Think about these factors:
What should be in a module?
- Objective or Learning Outcome
- Outline of Moodle activities in Module with due dates and point values
- Materials/Media to be used in the module
- Pre-assessment
- New Mexico Standards and Benchmarks for content area and technology standards
- Skills needed and to be learned chart
- Detailed instructions
- Student resources
- Examples: handouts, websites, Power Point presentations, video clips, podcasts
- Interactive activities - collaboration, problem solving, discussion - how will you do this?
- Post-Assessment (see Module Assessment Plan)
- There should be clear way for students/teachers to communicate with each other. This should be easily reached in the module.
- Students should have a clear understanding of what to do when they do not know what to do.
